Brevini has supplied the main and secondary winch for a new rough terrain crane
The long cooperation between Brevini and Terex is the basis for major successes. The proven fact is the rough terrain crane previewed at Bauma 2016, for which Brevini, thanks to the synergic combination of mechanical and hydraulic competences, supplies the main and the secondary winch.
“From a mechanical standpoint, we have used the new E Series components – explained Luca Spinelli, Product Manager of the Winches Range. – These parts are high-performing and silent. Moreover, we have introduced a “free wheel” in addition to the hydraulic controlled negative brake already present. This will provide more safety and control on the winch during the lifting phase. From a hydraulic standpoint, the passage from a 7 piston motor (model SH7V) to a 9 piston motor (model SH9V) improves performance in general while offering utmost control at very low rotation speed hence facilitating the winch’s movement and precision during the load positioning phase. These features are highly desired by end users. The new motor was designed specifically for the new application “.
